The location for “Lost in Translation” film can mainly be found in the Shinjuku and Shibuya in Tokyo.
One of the shooting location, New York Bar located on the 52nd floor of the Park Hyatt Tokyo in Shinjuku.
This is where Bill’s character meets a young Scarlet Johansson.
The New York Bar features live jazz every night, a Gorgeous view that overlooks the city. Everything remains the same from what you saw in the movie.
The bar has all you need, Amazing views, Great atmosphere, Great cocktails, Great selection of dishes, live music, The service is outstanding, It is impossible that you have a bad time here.
It’s a bit pricey it’s definitely worth it for a romantic and if you go before 8 pm ( Sun, 7 pm), you can avoid a 2500yen cover charge. and another reason for arriving at an early time is this will be the only times to get your photo and sitting on the same bar stool as Bill Murray in the film. The bar gets very busy throughout the evening.
